In July of 2022 Friends of Mewar’s founder, Padmaja Kumari Parmar, was invited as the Guest of Honor to an event organized by international students at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, Canada. Although she wasn’t able to make it in person, she joined in via Zoom and had a great time talking about preserving cultural heritage and traditions abroad.
